Our Board
David Farr
David Farr is a retired mechanical engineer who resides in Elyria, Ohio. He is a graduate of Avon Lake High School and Cornell University. David received Christ in 1969 and has served with Youth With A Mission in Hawaii and Brazil. David is the oldest of ten children and he and his wife Carol have five adult children, ten grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
Tim Urwin
Tim is one of six children and is a graduate of Independence High School and the Ohio State University with a degree in civil engineering. Tim came to faith in Christ at Ohio State through Campus Crusade for Christ. Tim and his wife Peggy reside in Bay Village and have enjoyed 35 years of marriage being blessed with four children.
Bobby Chappo
Bobby was born and raised in Dearborn Michigan and is a graduate of Ohio University with a degree in communication. He has enjoyed a successful career in the insurance industry where he is still active. Bobby is married to Jackie, they live in Lorain, Ohio, and love to travel. They are involved in the lives of their beloved family, particularly children Tara and Brandon, and step-daughter Becca. Bobby enjoys frequent exercise, especially walking, hiking, along with gardening/farming, and fishing.
Barney Hartman
Barney grew up on a farm in Wellington, Ohio and is a graduate of Wellington High School. His career centered on real estate, auction services and land development. Barney served his country during the Vietnam War as a medic in the U.S. Air Force. Barney is married to Linda and they enjoy a son and a daughter and three grandchildren.
Rick Willis

Rick is a graduate of Lakewood High School and Cleveland State University. He is the founder of Christian Community School and Elders At The Gate. Rick came to faith in Christ through the Young Life organization at age seventeen. Rick and his wife Becky have seven children, sixteen grandchildren and reside in Avon Ohio.
